Do you have or make Soda Bread, looking for a loaf for next Friday.?
Their banh mi sandwich.You're welcome.
Fantastic craft beer and great food. They have good breakfast items and start their soups around 11 am. Their soups are vegetarian friendly, they usually have a vegan option. Sandwiches are veg to meat friendly. Highly recommend.
MoreYou cannot beat Uprise sourdough bread! We also love the knish! Great soups and sandwiches for a tasty lunch!
MoreBest sandwiches of all time. If you disagree, you're wrong.
I go there for one reason: the baguettes. They are only one of two places in Columbia who knows how to make a real French baguette. Fair price, too. C'est parfait!
MoreJust amazing food, good coffee cute setting.
Good food for the price. Pictured is biscuit & gravy, ham & cheese croissant, iced coffee, and yogurt & granola.
MoreGreat sandwiches, can't miss out on the grilled cheese. Don't forget to come back for a movie one night. Definitely a good place for a date with a friendly staff.
MoreYummy breads and sandwiches, and delicious coffee! There's also a nice outdoor courtyard with tables to sit at. Nice spot.
MoreThe food here is amazing and well put together. Fantastic soups, salads, sandwiches, bakery items and other food. Great laid back atmosphere with great beer choices as well.
MorePretty upset with the company policy that "doesn't allow outside food". I'm a labor worker, who brings his lunch to work everyday and who also rides with a work crew, so not really given a choice in where I eat my lunch. But today I was told to pack my lunch away and not eat what I had brought, in the 30 minutes I have because of this policy. Everyone was expecting a nice upbeat lunch for a change and instead had the vibe and experience completely ruined. We will not be back!!
MoreThe best bread in Missouri, boasting many varieties and sizes. The restaurant is a bit odd, the food is definitely not as amazing as the bread, but it's pretty good. Very friendly staff, and a wonderful environment. Buy a loaf or too, and then snack on it in Ragtag, it's that good!
MoreI like the homey atmosphere and the food is wholesome and tasty 🤩
Awesome soups and beer make watching movies even more enjoyable!
Both expensive and worth it; Quality eatery.
Downtown Columbia staple with awesome baked goods, lunch menu, coffee, and a bar.
MoreEverything here is delicious! the bread is beyond amazing. I come here every time I'm in town.
MoreWait staff very kind. The vibes were good 🤩
Best bread in town! I love everything I've tried here, sandwiches, soups, pastries, and their bar is great! I love getting a beer and checking out records next door at Hitt St Records
MoreNo better place to dine, drink, watch a film, or buy some records. Literally, best in all of the above. Single turnoff I have noticed for some individuals is the crunchiness of the bread. It's super fresh handmade bread using quality ingredients and old recipes, if you prefer soft white bread feel out your bread option with the server. It's also some of the best bread I have personally ever had, in part, due to said crunchiness. To each, their own.
MoreBest artisan bread in town. Great coffee. Creative breakfast and lunch menu. The knish is to die for!
MoreAmazing food and great beer selection. Also cool that you can catch a movie at ragtag. I wish there were more outlets and that the layout was more comfortable for study sessions. Overall, I love it.
MoreStopped in for a quick morning bite. Coffee was hot and fresh. I ordered the orange pecan spelt muffin. Great balance of citrus and sweetness. The cinnamon roll was great too. Nice and soft, with a generous amount of cinnamon and icing.
MoreDelicious breads, the egg and red pepper stuff croissant is always a treat!
My favorite place in Columbia. Great bar, great food, great people. Also don’t sleep on the mini mushroom turnovers. Fantastic.
MoreI love the food, atmosphere and coffee here. Baby friendly, too.
One of the best places to get soup you will ever find. They have a fun atmosphere and there is a lot of life. The rest of the food is great too and the bread is to die for.It is also connected to a movie theater called the Rag Tag and a records store called Hitt Street Records, both a local favorite.
MoreTry the Reuben. And they have an interesting take on a caesar salad with lime and ginger in the dressing.
MoreThis is my favorite lunch restaurant in Columbia. They have excellent food and a great atmosphere. Their soups are always tasty and interesting and their bread is fabulous.Uprise also has excellent phone service and always answers quickly when I call.Seating is limited prior to some Ragtag showtimes, but everyone is friendly and accommodating.
MoreThis place has great soups and sandwiches. The atmosphere is very enjoyable.
Awesome soups, salads, sandwiches, quiche and bakery items. All made fresh in-house with lots of local produce. Patio is great for sitting. Full bar. Drinks and food can be carried in to Ragtag so you can have dinner and a movie.
MoreDelicious baked goods, friendly service just off Broadway in downtown CoMo. The red pepper and egg croissant is a great savory alternative to the ubiquitous ham & cheese croissant.
MoreAbsolutely wonderful bread and selection of food! Excellent and highly recommend!
MoreGreat food, decent prices. Very crowded.
You should really let customers know about a ten dollar minimum when they close out their tab. Not so fun to be blindsided by a ten dollar charge on one drink. They don’t even print it on the receipt, it just shows up on your bank statement the next day. I’m pretty f’in bitter about a $14 glass of wine.
MoreOne of my favorite study spots!!!
Love the bread, great sandwich options. Drip coffee was quality.
What is the baking schedule for bread selections ?
Everything I've had from Uprise has been amazing. So many meals enjoyed at Uprise during True/False. The Ham & Cheese Croissant was awesome.
MoreAmazing baked goods made in-house. I highly recommend their turnovers and biscuits. They also always have something unique. Good coffee, and again, they normally have a unique seasonal drink, my favorite is the honey lavender vanilla bean latte. Seating can get tight during lunch time, but they have a great patio space if you want to sit outside. Also doubles as a bar at night and a movie theater.
MoreUprise with it's cheery, lively atmosphere, and incredible sandwiches (Roasted Chicken is my favorite) and perennially delicious rotations of soups is a prime place to eat and visit when in Como. They make their own bread too, make sure to try the Olive bread or see what there current selection is if you want some delectable pan.
MoreThe breads are the best you'll have anywhere in the country
Great food excellent atmosphere local favourite
Outstanding pastries and soup. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Perfect for breakfast/brunch, but a good choice anytime.
MoreI always get the Cuban with the Thai ceaser! It's a homerun everytime! And you can pick up a sweet vinyl next door. I've never had a bad experience here.
MoreTop quality baked goods, service is excellent. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy accompanied by an egg croissant. Am blown away by the level of quality.
MoreMy favorite bar/cafe in CoMo. Total hipster haunt, but some of the best food, beer, and people in town.
MoreCoffee is great, they have my fav and cheapest iced latte in town. But the bread, idk, is it on expert?? It's super hard when I've gotten it.
MoreGreat food. Good atmosphere. Friendly service.
Good sandwich (although they were out of the rueben I had come to try). Decent beer selection. Casual atmosphere.
